Grayson 2 Piece and a Biscuit Contest Clip
Drew Adams has been on fire lately, posting up a new clip every week! Check out the latest recap clip from this past weekends “2 Piece and a Biscuit” Contest series stop at Grayson Skatepark here in Charlotte. Congrats to Marky Clements for taking first place in the advanced division.
Video Premiere for Kings of the QC
This coming Sunday, 9/11/11, we will be premiering the final videos from the top teams in the King’s of the Queen City contest. These guys went all out for a week busting their ass trying to win the title for this year so come check out what went down and see who won!
The event will be at VBGB Beer Garden/Restaurant and is open to all ages. There will be an all day event from 3pm-10pm with food, live music, and a flatbar and ledge to skate! The videos should start around 7pm. See you there!
2011 Kings of the Queen City Contest
Charlotte’s 3rd annual King’s of the Queen City Contest begins THIS FRIDAY, August 12th. Teams will compete to get the most points by completing different challenges including terrain challenges, Charlotte spot challenges, and Best/Most/Highest overall challenges. The contest will last 10 days so every team will have a fair shot at winning! Come to Black Sheep ANYTIME before the contest starts and sign up by paying $5 and letting us know what team you are on. Square One Skatepark Fundraiser!
Be sure to get out to the Saturday warehouse this coming Saturday, August 6th for an all day skate event/fundraiser. Square One Skatepark in Charleston is raising money to finish building their skatepark and throwing this awesome event. Skate all day, drink beer all night. Go Skateboarding Day on Fox News
Thanks to everyone who came out to the Go Skateboarding Day events we had on Tuesday. The Game of SKATE contest was a huge success, and the Best Trick contests out at the foundation featured some of the best skating the spot has seen. Congrats to all the winners! Fox News Charlotte was out filming the events and came through with a great piece on Go Skateboarding Day, showcasing the events as well as helping us raise awareness for the skate plaza movement here in Charlotte.
